Gear Cover Plate Gasket Cummins Engine ISM – Engine QSM
Seals the gear cover plate. Used with the cast-iron gear cover. Depending on the catalog, it may be listed as “front cover,” “rear cover plate,” or “end plate gasket.”
Main application: 10-liter Cummins L10 engines, especially older, non-certified versions. Some aftermarket catalogs also list it for the M11, ISM, and QSM.
To confirm exact compatibility, it is advisable to check the ESN/CPL, as the application may vary depending on the type of cover.
Secures the connecting rod cap to the connecting rod, ensuring proper tightening around the crankshaft journal. M12 × 1.25 thread. High-strength steel. Grade: 12.9.
Used on 6C / 6CT 8.3, 6CTA 8.3, ISC 8.3, and QSC 8.3 motors, as well as certain ISL, QSL, and M11 applications.
To ensure full compatibility, I recommend checking the ESN (Engine Serial Number), CPL, and connecting rod number, because there may be different configurations within the ISC/ISL/QSC/QSL/M11 family.
It is positioned between the oil cooler bracket/housing and the engine to prevent oil leaks.
Questa guarnizione Cummins risulta utilizzabile su diversi motori della stessa famiglia. Cummins la indica principalmente per l’M11, mentre diversi cataloghi aftermarket la riportano anche per L10, ISM e QSM.
To confirm 100% compatibility, you must check the engine serial number (ESN), because the oil cooler mount may vary depending on the CPL and configuration.
