Cylinder Kit Cummins Engine ISC 8.3 /L – Engine QSC 8.3 /L
This is a Cummins cylinder kit from the C Series 8.3 L family, specifically documented as a thin-wall/early block configuration, pre-1991. It is installed inside the cylinder block, one for each cylinder. The cylinder liner is mounted in the block; inside it, the piston operates, connected to the connecting rod via the piston pin. The kit restores the engine’s cylinder unit during an overhaul or in-frame repair. It includes the main wear components of the combustion system: piston, piston rings, piston pin, retainers, cylinder liner, and seal. It is used to restore compression, combustion gas sealing, oil control, and proper piston-to-cylinder fit.
Installed on Cummins 6C/L Series, ISC 8.3/L, QSC 8.3/L, ISL 8.9/9, and QSL 8.9 engines.
For this kit, I strongly recommend that you don’t just check the engine model.
