Connecting Rod Bushing Cummins Engine 6C 8.3 – Engine 6CT 8.3 – Engine 6CTA 8.3

Connecting Rod Bushing Cummins Engine 6C 8.3 – Engine 6CT 8.3 – Engine 6CTA 8.3

The bushing is pressed into the connecting rod foot and forms the sliding surface between the connecting rod and the piston pin. It serves to maintain proper piston alignment, reduce friction and wear, and distribute the loads transmitted from the piston pin to the connecting rod. Some aftermarket versions require boring or finishing after installation to achieve the correct pin tolerance.

It is used in various Cummins applications in the C, ISC, ISL, QSC, and QSL families.

Final compatibility must be verified using the ESN (Engine Serial Number), CPL, and the QuickServe/Cummins parts catalog, because not all configurations of the same engine necessarily use the same connecting rod or bushing.
