Piston Cooling Nozzle Cummins Engine ISC – Engine QSC
Piston Oil Cooling Nozzle / Piston Lubrication Nozzle Cummins Engine ISC 8.3 – Engine QSC 8.3
It is an internal nozzle in the lubrication system that sprays engine oil toward the bottom of the piston; it draws oil from the engine block’s lubrication gallery and directs a jet toward the underside of the piston. It is installed inside the cylinder block, in the lower part of the cylinders, facing the underside of the piston. This component is typically made of metallic materials suitable for the oil circuit and the engine’s internal temperatures.
Typically used on Cummins 6C 8.3, 6CT 8.3, 6CTA 8.3, ISC 8.3, QSC 8.3, ISL 8.9 / 9, ISL Natural Gas, and QSL 8.9 / 9 engines.
Before placing an order, I always recommend checking the Cummins ESN (Engine Serial Number), CPL, and QuickServe catalog, because the same QSL/ISC/ISL model may use different nozzle variants depending on the year and configuration.

Cylinder Kit Complete Cummins Engine ISC – Engine QSC
Cylinder Kit Complete Cummins Engine ISC 8.3 – Engine QSC 8.3
The kit is installed inside the engine block. The cylinder liner fits into the block’s bore; inside the liner, the piston, piston pin, connecting rod, and crankshaft operate. It forms the thermal assembly of the individual cylinder and must contain combustion pressure, guide the piston, ensure compression sealing, control the oil film via the piston rings, and maintain the correct piston-to-liner clearance. The complete Cummins cylinder kit for engines in the C Series 8.3 L family, or industrial/on-highway/off-highway applications using the correct 8.3 L block configuration, with STD configuration, for the late thick-walled cylinder block #3934899, effective 01/05/1998.
It is used in Cummins 6C 8.3 L, 6CT 8.3 L, 6CTA 8.3 L, ISC 8.3, QSC 8.3, ISL 8.9/9, and QSL 8.9/9 engines.
Compatibility varies by engine CPL, ESN, piston configuration, and cylinder block. Verify the engine serial number before ordering. This wording allows you to correctly include QSL, ISL, QSC, and ISC without incorrectly stating that it fits all of these engines. Cummins itself recommends identifying parts by ESN/CPL and piston configuration.

Liner w/o Sealing Ring Cummins Engine ISC 8.3 /L – Engine QSC 8.3 /L
The cylinder liner is installed inside the cylinder block, forming the cylindrical surface along which the piston moves. The kit is designed to provide the piston’s sliding surface, maintain the correct cylinder geometry, rebuild the cylinder during an engine overhaul, and ensure a proper seal using the included sealing elements. The kit includes a cylinder liner and a liner seal.
Installed on Cummins 6C/L Series, ISC 8.3/L, QSC 8.3/L, ISL 8.9/9, and QSL 8.9 engines.
Generally manufactured up to 1990 / before the 1991 block modifications. To avoid errors, I recommend verifying at least one of the following: Engine Serial Number (ESN), CPL, Cummins QuickServe catalog, block casting number, engine production year, original cylinder liner dimensions, and the number stamped on the old cylinder liner. In particular, it is important to distinguish the early pre-1991 block from later versions.
