Depending on the engine configuration, it can drive the fan, water pump, alternator, A/C compressor, power steering, or other accessories via the crankshaft pulley. The OEM designation in the Poly-V system: 8 = number of ribs/grooves; PK = automotive Poly-V profile; 2270 = nominal length of approximately 2270 mm. Width 28 mm, Thickness 4.2 mm.

Used on Cummins ISB / QSB / ISC / QSC / ISL / QSL9 engines, as well as selected B- and C-series configurations.

Final compatibility must be verified using the Engine Serial Number (ESN), CPL, and fan/accessory drive configuration. The same engine may use different belt lengths depending on the alternator, A/C, fan drive, and pulleys installed.
