V-Ribbed Belt 8PK2124 Cummins Engine 4B 3.9 – Engine 4BT 3.9 – Engine 4BTA 3.9

Its purpose is to transmit power from the crankshaft to the accessories driven by the auxiliary drive. The actual configuration depends on the engine installation and may include an alternator, fan, water pump, and/or other accessories. The OEM designation in the Poly-V system: 8 = number of ribs/grooves; PK = automotive Poly-V profile; 2124 = nominal length of approximately 2124 mm. This would correspond to 8 grooves, a length of 2124 mm, a height of approximately 5.5 mm, and a rib pitch of 3.56 mm.

Applications: Cummins 6C8.3, ISC8.3, QSC8.3 and selected B/ISB/ISF configurations depending on accessory arrangement.

The installation must be verified using the ESN (Engine Serial Number), CPL, and accessory configuration, because the same engine may use different belt lengths depending on the alternator, A/C, fan, and pulley arrangement.
