because the same engine model can be fitted with different 
parts depending on the year of manufacture or the CPL.

Fresh Water Pump Cummins Engine ISL 8.9 – Engine QSL 8.9 / 9

Intended for the cooling system. Its function is to circulate coolant through the engine block, cylinder head, and cooling system, transferring heat to the radiator and maintaining the engine at the correct operating temperature. The visible configuration includes a triangular flange with three mounting points, a cylindrical housing, a metal impeller, and an O-ring seal. The exploded view available for the kit shows the pump, O-ring, and mounting hardware.

Engine Compatibility: Cummins 6C, 6CT, 6CTA, C8.3, ISC 8.3, QSC 8.3, ISL 8.9, ISL9, QSL/QSL9

Before installation, I recommend checking the Cummins ESN and CPL. The fact that the same ISC/ISL/QSL rated engine is used does not guarantee that all configurations use the same pump.
