Front Crankshaft Oil Seal Kit Cummins Engine 6C 8.3 – Engine 6CT 8.3 – Engine 6CTA 8.3
The kit is fitted to the front of the crankshaft, at the front gear housing/front cover. Its function is to prevent engine oil from leaking around the crankshaft whilst it is rotating. It typically comprises a technical elastomer seal with a metal reinforcement and a metal support/cover.
Used on the 6C 8.3, 6CT 8.3, 6CTA 8.3, ISC 8.3, QSC 8.3, ISL, QSL / QSL 9 engines.
Always check the ESN and CPL before sale, as there may be variations within the ISC/QSC/ISL/QSL families depending on configuration, year and front gear housing.
