Connecting Rod Cummins Engine L10

Located inside the engine block, between the piston and the crankshaft. Its function is to transfer the force generated by combustion from the piston to the crankshaft. Made of high-strength forged steel.

It is primarily installed on Cummins L10 engines, as well as on M11 and ISM engines.

Final check before acquisition: ESN + CPL, especially to distinguish between drilled and non-drilled configurations and the corresponding casting.

Its main function is to seal the cylinder liner against the engine block, prevent coolant from flowing into unintended areas, prevent contamination between coolant and engine oil, and maintain proper sealing of the cylinder liner during the engine’s thermal cycles.

    This is a standard (STD) engine piston kit used primarily on Cummins ISL/QSL 8.9–9.0 L engines, featuring a two-piece piston. The kit is installed inside the cylinder block, connected to the connecting rod via the piston pin. Its function is to absorb the pressure generated by combustion, transfer the force to the connecting rod and then to the crankshaft, seal the combustion chamber via the piston rings, control oil consumption, and transfer part of the heat from the piston to the cylinder liner and the cooling/lubrication system.
