Its function is to secure the lower end of the connecting rod to the connecting rod body, maintaining the proper clamping force around the crankshaft journal. It therefore operates under extremely high cyclic tensile and fatigue loads; it is not a standard commercial bolt and must be replaced with a component that meets OEM specifications. Nominal length: 3.583 in, made of alloy steel.
It is found on some Cummins L10, M11, ISm, and QSM engines.
Before purchasing, especially for specific applications such as trucks, marine engines, generators, or construction equipment, a final verification should be performed using Cummins ESN + CPL. This prevents the assumption that all L10/M11/ISM/QSM engines use the same bolt revision.

The cylinder liner forms the cylindrical surface along which the piston and piston rings slide. It maintains the correct geometry of the cylinder, transfers heat to the engine block, and allows the engine to be rebuilt without having to replace the entire engine block. It is specified as a flanged cylinder liner and is supplied without sealing rings.
Cummins 6C-Series engines are also used in power plants, including the ISC 8.3, QSC 8.3, ISL 8.9 / 9, and QSL 8.9 / 9 models.
ESN – Engine Serial Number, CPL, Cummins QuickServe/OEM catalog, complete engine model and CM, stamped/cast number on the old liner, dimensional comparison of inner diameter/flange/length, or confirmation from Cummins.
Rear crankshaft oil seal located in the area where the engine block connects to the flywheel housing. Its function is to prevent engine oil from leaking around the rear end of the crankshaft and to limit the entry of contaminants. This family of oil seals is available with a PTFE sealing element.

Rear end of the crankshaft, flywheel side. Rear oil seal with wear ring, dry-clutch application, Non-REPTO. Prevents oil leakage between the crankshaft and the flywheel housing.
Final compatibility must be verified using the engine serial number, because the same M11/ISM model may use a different oil seal depending on the flywheel, clutch, and REPTO configuration.
