Piston Oil Cooling Nozzle Cummins Engine M11 – Engine ISM – Engine QSM

This is a Cummins piston cooling nozzle, mounted internally in the engine block. Its function is to spray engine oil onto the underside of the piston to reduce its temperature and aid in lubrication. The part number is confirmed as an original Cummins replacement part.

Equipped with Cummins L10 / LTA10 engines; M11: 1855, 1856, 2037, 2370, 2371, 2607; ISM and QSM: 2350, 2728, 2729, 8556, 8557, 8558.

I recommend always verifying at least one of the following pieces of information: ESN (Engine Serial Number), CPL, the Cummins QuickServe catalog, the cylinder block number/casting number, the old number stamped on the component, the complete engine model, and the machine application.

This is particularly important if the customer specifies L10 or a specific industrial application, because not all variants use the same piston cooling nozzle.
