Rear Oil Seal Kit Cummins Engine ISB 4.5 – Engine ISB 6.7

Rear crankshaft oil seal kit with a double-lip seal, designed for Cummins applications with a wet flywheel/clutch housing. Location: rear end of the crankshaft, transmission/flywheel side. Documented equivalent seal made of PTFE. Its function is to prevent engine oil from leaking from the rear end of the crankshaft, maintaining a seal during crankshaft rotation.

The following are listed: ISB4.5, ISB6.7, QSB4.5, QSB6.7, 6C8.3, 6CT8.3, 6CTA8.3, ISC, QSC, ISL, and QSL for applications with a wet clutch housing. And on other engines: 4BT3.9, 6BT5.9, 6CT8.3, 6CTA8.3, 6CTAA8.3, and QSL9

The kit provides a seal at the rear of the crankshaft, preventing engine oil from leaking at the point where the crankshaft exits the engine block toward the flywheel/transmission housing. It is therefore installed at the rear of the engine block, on the flywheel side. The sealing component is typically made of a technical elastomer that is resistant to oil and high temperatures, combined with metal support/reinforcement elements.
