Pump, Fuel Transfer Cummins Engine

The pump is mounted on the engine using a two-hole flange. A push rod driven by the cam profile sets the internal impeller in motion; this alternately draws in and delivers fuel. Its function is to draw diesel fuel from the fuel supply system and deliver it to the injection pump at an appropriate pressure and flow rate.

Fitted with Cummins 4B, 4BT, 4BTA, 6B, 6BT, 6BTA, 6C, 6CT, and 6CTA engines.
