Valve Seat Insert Cummins Engine ISC 8.3

It is a metal insert installed in the cylinder head, where it serves as the valve’s seating and sealing surface. It is pressed or machined into the cylinder head around the exhaust valve seat. It provides the valve with a durable surface against which to close; it contributes to the combustion chamber seal and to the transfer of heat from the valve to the cylinder head.

It uses Cummins ISC 8.3, QSC 8.3, ISL 8.9, ISL 8.9 L, ISLe, 6LT 8.9L, QSL 8.9, QSL 8.9 L, and QSL 9 engines
